Why is the value different from my jeweller's or bank's price?

kumbo uses reference market prices. Dealers and banks buy below and sell above that price, and coins or jewellery can carry a workmanship premium. Use kumbo to follow your holdings over time, and ask for a real quote before you sell.

How are coins and jewellery valued?

By the pure gold or silver in them. A quarter coin, a sovereign or a 22K bangle is converted to pure grams and multiplied by today's gram price, so everything you own adds up on the same scale.

How often do prices update?

Every time you open the app, and whenever you pull down on the Portfolio screen. The underlying reference rates are published once per business day. If you're offline, kumbo shows the last prices it had.

Which countries are supported?

kumbo picks your currency and local units from your iPhone's region. Today that covers Türkiye, the United States, the United Kingdom, the eurozone, India and the United Arab Emirates; other regions use US dollars and international units. More are on the way — tell us yours.

Where is my data stored?

On your iPhone, in kumbo's private storage. There are no accounts and nothing about your holdings is sent to us. See the Privacy Policy.
